Dance Ireland invite you to a two-day event on choreography and urban planning. How do they connect?

The 7th March will be devoted to a symposium about the development of the Docklands area, the role choreographers and artists play in shaping our experience of city life, and innovative approaches to using and designing public space. Prepare your questions, let’s fuel the discussion about how urban development can impact our standard of living and how arts could contribute in transforming our perception of the place we live in. Ríonach Ní Néill, Betty Ashe, Deirdre Scully, Bernadette Divilly, Seán Harrington, Samuel Bishop will share their reflections on this topic, facilitated by architect and designer Emma Curley.

The 8th March a performance trail will explore hidden gems of dance in unusual locations in the Docklands area.
